Nakisha Yvonne Johnson
HAR extends condolences to family, friends and colleagues of member Nakisha Yvonne Johnson, 46, who died on May 30, 2023. Nakisha was broker/owner of Citywide Specials Realty, where she spent the last five years of her 15-year real estate career.
Nakisha, daughter of Johnny and the late Bettie Johnson, was born on December 16, 1976 in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Westbury High School in 1995 and entered the real estate profession after graduating from Houston Baptist University with a degree in Applied Science. She joined HAR while attending Champions School of Real Estate and Houston Community College. She began working in the field at Coldwell Banker in Houston. Nakisha went on to become broker/owner of her own agency ,Citywide Specials Realty. She loved helping others and constantly helped those in need. She was passionate about her career and the people she worked with. She will be remembered as someone who loved her community, friends, and family.
Nakisha’s enduring legacy lives on in her cherished daughter, Cashet Grier, and beloved granddaughter, Journey Joyce Grier. Through Cashet and Journey, Nakisha’s spirit of love, strength, and generosity will continue to resonate. She is also survived by her siblings, hosts of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
A Celebration of Life was recently held at Carnes Funeral Home in Houston.
