On January 30, more than 80 volunteers serving on the Governmental Affairs Advisory Group, Political Affairs Advisory Group and the Bay Area, Fort Bend and Montgomery County Political Affairs Advisory Leadership joined forces for their orientation held at the new Greater Houston Partnership Tower. From the Tower’s ninth floor, volunteers networked with other REALTORS® from across the region while enjoying the spectacular views of downtown Houston and learning the important roles they play in HAR’s political and governmental affairs process.
From newly-elected officials, to the candidate interview and recommendation process, to issues facing the Texas Legislature, volunteers were briefed on what is expected of their service. We want to thank everyone who attended. Working together on our goals and objectives, we look forward to another successful and productive year.
