With the summer over and kids back in school, it is time to return to some normalcy and perhaps focus back on business a little bit more.
One way is to purchase the new iPhone fob that will allow you to open Supra lockboxes with your iPhone. It’s convenient and the monthly fee is the same as the ActiveKEY. You can even keep it on your key ring when it’s not in use.
We also have other new technology offerings, including map enhancements, a gallery of widgets and a new single login system. You will now see new features on the Home Finder page of HAR.com. You may also customize and embed any of the myriad of widgets on your own website. Lastly, you will no longer have to log in several times to access different parts of HAR.com. These are all great improvements that continue to show the responsiveness and thoughtfulness of the HAR staff.
I also know that no one will want to miss REALTOR® Expo this year on October 13 at Reliant Center. It promises to be the best event yet, with sessions about “Technology and the Tools for Success,” “Legal and Economic Outlook – Locally and Internationally,” and “Understanding Who Your Buyer Is and Will Be.” There are opportunities for cash giveaways, and there will be live entertainment. If you’ve attended before, you know how much fun it is. If you haven’t attended, come on down and find out what you’ve been missing.
Before our own local REALTOR® Expo, TAR will be holding the Texas REALTORS® Convention and Trade Expo in Galveston from September 10-12. You don’t want to miss the opportunity to attend when it is so close and convenient to attend.
Lastly and most importantly, everyone needs to remember that September is REALTOR® Safety Month. We have an article about all of the various scams and crimes that have been reported by our members during the last year. By sharing this information, we hope to help others avoid these situations or at least know what to do if it happens to you.
Until next month, have a prosperous September.
