Recent Improvements
We’ve made some recent improvements to the Commercial Gateway platform that provide members with a better layout and add company branding. The new Grid View allows members to view the page in split-screen mode, displaying half map and half preview grid. You no longer have to toggle between pages. This feature lets members move the map or zoom while a preview grid displays listings on the right side of the screen.
Broadcast emails and pdf reports now include your company’s logo. This allows you to create and blast out mobile-optimized email flyers with your listing data, contact information, and company logo. The broadcast system also provides the number of emails sent, emails opened, and click rate.
Each listing detail page now integrates a Moody’s Analytics application that helps you gauge a location’s value for commercial use. The Commercial Location Score evaluates a parcel’s suitability for five commercial property asset classes: office, industrial, retail, multi-family, and hotel. It calculates component factor scores including business vitality, economic prosperity, amenity, spatial demand, transportation, and safety. The Commercial Location Score allows investors, lenders, and developers to evaluate the suitability of a site, and it can be used to complement existing site risk and investment assessment analyses.
National Marketing
The new CommercialExchange.com site was recently launched to provide commercial real estate brokers with access to a comprehensive national marketing platform that is seamlessly integrated with their local CIE. Commercial Gateway is cooperating with national technology provider Catylist Real Estate Software to integrate our local CommGate.com with the national CommercialExchange.com portal.
The integration between the two sites is seamless and instantaneous. Listing data entered into CommGate.com by CIE members is published for display on Commercial Exchange in real-time. Catylist compiles both for-sale and lease availabilities sourced directly from brokers in Catylist’s network of over 50 CIEs across the United States.
CommGate members do not have to log in to Commercial Exchange as all the functionality and more features are built into the CommGate CIE. Listing display on CommercialExchange.com is a benefit provided to CommGate members at no additional cost.
