Approximately 2,500 REALTORS® and affiliate members from across the state of Texas gathered at the capitol in Austin on April 4 for REALTOR® Day at the Texas Capitol 2017. This number included a six-bus, 230-person delegation from the greater Houston area.
HAR members, including HAR and TREPAC leadership, visited with state lawmakers on the following key public policy issues and related bills filed in the 85th Texas Legislature:
- Home equity
- Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC)
- Election Transparency
- Title Insurance
- Property Tax Reform
- Eminent Domain
- Rental Regulation
- Transportation Network Companies (TNCs)
