More than 250 guests attended REALTOR® celebration at the Houston Country Club on December 14 for the swearing in of the 2014 HAR Board of Directors and Chaille Ralph, with Heritage Texas Properties, as Chair. The event also honored two outstanding real estate professionals for dedication and community stewardship. Christi Borden, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene – Katy®, was honored as 2013 REALTOR® of the Year and Mike Mahlstedt of Heritage Texas Properties, received the 2013 John E. Wolf Citizenship Cup Award.
HAR President and CEO Bob Hale saluted Danny Frank for his dynamic term as 2013 HAR Chair and he narrated a retrospective of Danny’s year of service. Guests also watched a moving video about Chaille’s incredible professional journey since she first became a licensed broker in 1982, and her unwavering dedication as a mother to teenage daughter, Ashley. The video featured an interview with Ashley as well as with Heritage Texas Properties President & CEO Robin Mueck, who reflected on her 20-year friendship and working relationship with Chaille. Chaille’s longtime family friend, Vance Waller, and Leading Real Estate Companies of the World President & CEO Pam O’Connor, offered congratulatory remarks. Viewers enjoyed a montage of photos from all the different phases of Chaille’s life.
