Your HAR Governmental Affairs Department invites you to join your fellow Texas REALTORS® to attend a very important event, Texas REALTOR® Lobby Day, in Austin on Tuesday, April 12, 2011. It will be an informative, and most of all fun, day in Austin as you network with fellow REALTORS® and meet with your state lawmakers to discuss matters of concern to the real estate industry, such as:
- Appraisal Reform
- Eminent Domain
- HOAs
- REALTOR® Transfer Fee
- Sales tax on professional services
It is important that REALTORS® make their presence known and put a face behind the issues that matter most to protect your pocketbook and livelihood.
A minimum $110 TREPAC investment is necessary for members and their spouses or guests to participate in Texas REALTOR® Lobby Day.
For your convenience, we will have buses available to take you to Austin. A minimum of 20 reservations per location are required by March 11 in order to reserve a bus. We will keep you informed as the date draws closer.
