Office Analytical Reports Now Available on Commercial Gateway
An office broker answers their clients’ questions about market conditions. What is the trend of average lease rates for Class A office buildings in Houston’s Central Business District over the last three years? What about absorption for those same buildings; is there more space or less?

Members of Commercial Gateway can now easily find those answers and more on the Houston office market by using the new statistical reporting features provided at www.CommGate.com.  By making this statistical data readily accessible, members will save both time and effort when preparing proposals and conducting market research and analysis for clients. Members can search and pull statistics by standard selected criteria or geographically by radius or map options.

Commercial Gateway’s research staff has been surveying Houston’s office and industrial lease markets and compiling complete and accurate information since 2003. These new historical analytical market were developed and included in the recently released upgrade to the commercial information platform.

12 new trend reports deliver analysis and researched data for individual buildings and for groups of building selected by the broker or aggregated by market area. Brokers and researchers can generate reports that analyze vacancy, absorption and weighted average rental rates from 2005 to the present. Members can compare specific properties in custom-made reports or utilize Commercial Gateway’s established submarkets in both graphs and data tables. Reports can be further customized by class, primary use, occupancy type, geographical area and building status and display both quarterly and annual trends. Market share reports summarizing available and total square footage percentages and numbers by brokerage firm are also provided.

 

 

Reports can be easily and quickly accessed through the Statistical Reporting feature and can be exported and/or saved in three different formats including Adobe (pdf), Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Report parameters or search features can also be saved to enable members to pull the same report with updated data. Similar historical trend reports covering Houston’s industrial market will be available soon to members.
