REALTOR® Mary Starr has been appointed to the City of Pearland Planning and Zoning Commission.
Starr was appointed on July 1, 2012 and her term will run through November 2013.
Starr is a broker at Prudential Premiere Properties in Pearland, Texas. The company has been in Pearland since 1976. Starr serves on the HAR Political Affairs Advisory Group, Governmental Affairs Advisory Group and
Bay Area Political Affairs Advisory Leadership. Starr is a past NAR Director, a TAR Director, and was Chairman of the Board of the Bay Area Association of REALTORS when the merger with HAR occurred. She is also Past President of the Bay Area Women’s Council of REALTORS.
“Having been on the Commission before, it is in some ways a continuation. However, there are a lot of changes that have occurred, and I am looking forward to the committee work on the Strategic Plan. Pearland is a growing City, and an exciting place to work and live,” Starr said.
