Northwest Houston has been a major area for development since developers gained access to financing backed by bonds from Municipal Utility Districts and used those bonds for residential developments. Other smaller towns like Tomball along with unincorporated areas in Harris County have built infrastructure and attracted a diverse mix of office, industrial, residential, retail and recreational development. Now planners are looking at the next phase of development that may include more tolls roads along State Highway 249 and U.S. Highway 290 along with a completely rebuilt U. S. 290, known to many as the Northwest Freeway.
The Northwest Houston submarket is an ideal place to live with a growing workforce and residential base. Its proximity to other major business centers and Beltway 8 provides tremendous access to and through this growing market.
Commercial Gateway is sponsoring a networking event on Thursday, August 12, featuring major commercial developments shaping the area’s landscape, presented by representatives of Houston’s commercial real estate community. A networking reception will follow the broker presentations.
Come learn about the new projects that are driving the growth in this large market segment and connect with the brokers and developers who are making those projects a reality. The event will be in Lone Star College’s newest University Park campus next to the HP campus.
