The Texas real estate licensee engaged in property management and leasing is confronted with challenges on a daily basis related to both federal and state fair housing acts. The goal of the course is to help the real estate professional stay compliant and on the right side of the law when it comes to fair housing specifically in the area of property management. The course will provide answers to some of the most frequently asked questions regarding this topic. This course will give the licensee an understanding of the fair housing laws affecting leasing and property management. It will also provide valuable information regarding the implementation of fair housing practices on a state level as interpreted by the Regulatory Integrity Division of the Texas Workforce Commission.
