In September, HAR’s very own Kenya Burrell Van Wormer was nominated to the Second Vice Chair of TREPAC for the whole state of Texas. This means that she will serve as the 2015 TAR TREPAC Chair. Kenya has served on both the HAR Political Affairs and Governmental Affairs Advisory Groups as well as the TREPAC Advisory Group where she rose to the leadership role as HAR TREPAC Chair in 2009 and then HAR TREPAC Trustee for 2010-2012. In addition to her interests in the political process, Kenya has worked on behalf of members’ interests on the HAR Board of Directors and the TAR Member Benefits Committee.   Congratulations to Kenya!
