The HAR area networking groups are back in full swing and have already had many memorable meetings in 2022. In August, the Montgomery County Area Networking Group heard an economic development update from Gil Staley of the Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership and Danielle Scheiner of the Conroe Economic Development Council. At the Pearland-Alvin-Friendswood Area Networking Breakfast the police chiefs of all three respective cities gave presentations on crime and safety and discussed how HAR Members can be involved in their community. Along with those previously mentioned, the other existing HAR Area Networking Groups are the Bay Area Group which meets in Deer Park, Fort Bend, Greater Northwest, Katy Area, and Lake Houston.
HAR is pleased to announce that, beginning in September, there will be a ninth Area Networking Group added to the roster called the South Bay Area REALTOR® Breakfast. This group will meet at the League City Civic Center with the goal of growing engagement in League City and its surrounding areas as well as providing the members who attend with high quality and informative guest speakers and programs. The first meeting will be held on September 16 and each subsequent meeting will be held on the third Thursday of every month. The committee of local HAR members from League City is already hard at work securing speakers for the rest of 2022. If you’re an HAR member who lives or works near League City, this group will be a great way for you to network with fellow REALTORS® as well as stay up to date on what is going on in the community. We look forward to seeing everyone at the inaugural HAR South Bay Area REALTOR® Breakfast on September 16 at the League City Civic Center.
