The Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR) and the San Antonio Board of REALTORS® (SABOR) announced a data share agreement that gives the associations’ members access to thousands of additional listings across the state of Texas.
The agreement gives HAR’s 48,000 MLS subscribers access to all SABOR listings, including Active and Sold listings, in San Antonio and the surrounding area effective Tuesday, May 2, 2023. SABOR’s 15,000 MLS subscribers will also have access to all HAR listings effective May 9, 2023. The data share agreement is part of HAR and SABOR’s ongoing mission to provide the most comprehensive and current real estate information to its MLS subscribers.
The SABOR listings can be accessed in the Matrix interface used by HAR members and can be found by searching by City, Zip Code, Subdivision or via a map search. HAR members who work in or refer business to San Antonio will have a full data set for research and Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) in that market.
“Data shares and collaborations like the one between HAR and SABOR are key with Texas’ growing real estate industry,” said HAR Chair Cathy Treviño with Side, Inc. “Texas is one of the top places people are moving to across the country, and many Texans are moving within the state. Now our members will be able to better serve their clients in the Houston and San Antonio areas.”
“The Houston Association of REALTORS® is excited to announce this benefit to our more than 48,000 MLS subscribers,” said HAR President and CEO Bob Hale. “We believe that this agreement will enhance our members’ abilities to serve their clients and expand their businesses.”
HAR listings can be accessed in connectMLS used by SABOR MLS customers, and can be found by searching by City, Zip Code, Subdivision or via map search. SABOR MLS customers who work in or refer business to Houston will have a full data set for research and Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) in that market.
“This data share partnership will bring a much-needed competitive edge to our members by enhancing potential revenue opportunities in a rapidly growing market,” said Sara Briseño Gerrish, SABOR’s 2023 Chairman.
“Similar models across the country, such as Florida, Georgia, and Kentucky, have shown much success and benefits for brokers and agents,” said CEO Gilbert Gonzalez. “This partnership is the first of its kind for large associations in the state, and we are excited to bring this progressive model to our members as an effort of our strategic plan.”
