HAR’s latest quarterly Housing Affordability Index (HAI), released on August 11, generated same-day coverage by KHOU/11 News consumer reporter Tiffany Craig. The next day, KHOU/11 News reporter Matt Dougherty interviewed HAR Chair Jennifer Wauhob for a more in-depth look at the HAI and what it means to consumers. 45/Univision Houston featured a Spanish language interview on August 12 about the HAI with Immediate Past Chairman Richard Miranda.  

HAR’s survey of the 10 Most Expensive Homes Sold in Houston in July received coverage on August 12 in Houston Agent Magazine. 

FOX 26 News reporter Tom Zizka cited HAR MLS home sales, pricing and inventory data in his August 9 story about falling Houston home sales and improving inventory. 

Houston Agent Magazine cited HAR’s Week 30 Weekly Activity Snapshot (WAS) in an August 8 story about new listings trends.

KTRH/NewsRadio 740 reporter Nikki Courtney interviewed HAR Chair Jennifer Wauhob for stories that aired on August 4 about current Houston housing trends.

HAR Professional Development Director Rita Blevins was profiled in an August 1 feature story by Houston Agent Magazine reporter Mary Prenon about what local REALTOR® Associations offer for their rookie agents in terms of education and how they get them up and running as real estate professionals.

On July 29, HAR Chair Jennifer Wauhob did a live interview with the FOX 26 News morning team about the stabilization of Houston home sales. Jennifer explained what prevailing market conditions mean for buyers and sellers alike.
