HAR Governmental Affairs co-chair Ed Wolff made live appearances on KHOU-TV / 11 News in September and October to discuss Hurricane Harvey’s effects on local real estate, flood response and preparedness going forward. These included Facebook Live interviews both on set with anchor Len Cannon and at Ed’s own flood-damaged Meyerland home with reporter Sherry Williams.
HAR Secretary/Treasurer Richard Miranda interviewed with reporters from Spanish language Houston TV stations 45 / Univision and 48 / Telemundo for their respective stories about Harvey’s impact on the Houston housing market as well as to promote the Harvey Temporary Housing Site on HAR.com.
HAR provided localized housing data and facilitated expert interviews for a Galveston County Daily News story about Harvey’s impact across Galveston County. The article, headlined “Harvey delays some sales in a still strong market,” published on September 9.
