HAR Chair Cindy Hamann was a guest on the KHOU-TV/11 News talk show “Great Day Houston” on Friday, April 21. Cindy discussed appraisals with host Deborah Duncan and explained how homeowners can protest appraisals that seem too high. She recommended consulting a REALTOR® as a resource to help prepare a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) and emphasized the importance, in general, of real estate consumers working with a REALTOR®, whether buying or selling a home, as well as all the helpful consumer tools HAR.com offers.
HAR Chair-elect Kenya Burrell was a guest on KPRC-TV/Local 2’s live daily talk show, “Houston Life,” on February 21, where she discussed the many housing options that are available to first-time Houston home buyers. Kenya used the appearance to promote HAR.com as a valuable home-searching resource.
Houston Chronicle real estate correspondent Michelle Sandlin, whose columns focus on the relocation market, interviewed former HAR and TAR Chairman Shad Bogany for his perspectives on the history and everyday applications of the Fair Housing Act.
