The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) has awarded HAR’s International Advisory Group (IAG) the DIAMOND Global Achievement Award. NAR created the Global Achievement Program Award back in 2011 to not only encourage, but to recognize local and state real estate associations global programming efforts and achievements. HAR’s IAG jumped into the application process and received a platinum award, the highest level at the time, the very first year! The HAR IAG went on to receive the Platinum award for five consecutive years from 2013-2017.
In 2016, NAR raised the bar and established a new, higher level award (DIAMOND) for Global Achievement that recognizes those councils that have consistently performed at the highest level (Platinum) for six consecutive years, and HAR’s IAG achieved DIAMOND status this year. The HAR IAG has shown the highest level of service to its global members by consistently providing them with the tools they need to handle international real estate in addition to connecting members to the global community in the greater Houston area. The services and resources the IAG works hard to provide are the benchmarks upon which the standards have been set for the other local and state association global programs.
