On November 2, 35 HAR members became graduates of the Texas REALTORS® Leadership Program (TRLP). In addition to completing a series of intense courses that included spokesperson training, business planning, conflict resolution and law, legislature and leadership; the group has embarked on a leadership project, partnering with Cy-Hope Dierker’s Champs who’s mission is “to transform the lives of boys and girls by providing the best baseball instruction possible in a positive, family friendly environment.” Cy-Hope helps underserved kids in elementary and middle schools play baseball at little to zero cost. The upcoming Bingo, Bags & Baseball event on February 1, 2023 at Bayou City Center will be the main fundraising event to help raise $150,000 funds to assist with the build out of baseball fields, ground infrastructure and facilities. It promises to be an evening to remember with great food, lots of fun, a raffle and a silent auction with awesome prizes!
