The HAR International Advisory Group (IAG) recently hosted real estate professionals from Mexico that are members of the Asociacion Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobiliarios, A.C. (AMPI). AMPI is the NAR equivalent for Mexico.
In a crowded board room filled with HAR board of directors and IAG members, HAR Chair Shannon Cobb Evans signed Memorandums of Understanding with both Ana Alicia López Salgado, the International Director of AMPI National as well as with Miguel Contreras Gutierrez, the AMPI Chapter President from Manzanillo, Mexico.
The signings signify a willingness of both parties, HAR and AMPI, to work together to assist their members in real estate activities in both countries. Special thanks for HAR IAG 2019 Chairman Pius Dawson, Immediate Past Chair Susan Annoura, HAR Vice Chairman Richard Miranda and Past Chair and current member of the IAG, Nelly Mitford, for putting this program together and entertaining our guests. The AMPI guests visited the Greater Houston Partnership and learned about the Port of Houston and other areas of industry in our city, toured Houston’s downtown, NASA and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo during their brief Houston visit.
