Wall Street Journal reporter Katherine Clarke cited HAR data in her March 4 feature about the sale of a chateau-style mansion in Houston that had been reduced from $43 million to $30 million. The article also referenced home sales statistics from former HAR Chairman Ted C. Jones, Ph.D. who, as chief economist for Stewart Title, handles economic forecasting on behalf of HAR.
HAR board member Katie Kossev and her developer husband, Veso, were guests on the Fox 26 News talk show, “The Isiah Factor,” with host Isiah Carey, on March 8, to discuss the gentrification of various Houston neighborhoods.
HAR supplied data to the Houston Business Journal for its profile of the 10 most expensive homes that sold in Houston in January. The article published on February 22 and featured full-color photos of the properties provided by the listing agents/brokerages, which are credited in the report.
