CRE Professionals Group supports local charities
The Association of Commercial Real Estate Professionals (ACRP) donated a portion of the proceeds from their two annual fundraisers to five local charities. The fundraisers included the 2016 Houston Commercial Real Estate Golf Classic hosted last November and the 2nd Annual ACRP Inshore Invitational Fishing Tournament held this past June.
Celebrating its 30th year anniversary, ACRP’s donation’s totaled $30,000 this year. Charitable recipients included: Texas A&M College of Architecture Masters of Land and Property Development Program, University of Houston C.T. Bauer College of Business Graduate Real Estate Program, Combat Marine Outdoors, Galveston Bay Foundation and the ACE Mentor program.
“ACRP is steadfast in its commitment to make a difference by making annual donations to support the Houston Real Estate Industry leaders of tomorrow as well as a diverse group of other organizations that positively impact our communities” states Jason Cooper, ACRP President. “Celebrating our 30th year, it was our goal to donate $30,000, and I am pleased that we met it. It is a testament to the foundation that ACRP is built on and I am just so proud to be a part of this organization.”
The Association of Commercial Real Estate Professionals (ACRP) was founded in 1987 as a business oriented non-political association to enhance its members’ and guests’ knowledge of the commercial real estate industry, to establish business relationships and promote comradeship among a diverse group of individuals who are affiliated with or have an interest in the Houston commercial real estate industry.
