Houston Chronicle real estate columnist Michelle Sandlin wrote a two-part “On The Move” series that profiled 2017 HAR Chair Cindy Hamann and captured her perspectives on Houston’s residential housing market. The stories appeared in the January 8 and 15 hard copy editions of the paper as well as online.
HAR board member Christi Borden shared her expertise about relocations to the Fort Bend housing market with Community Impact Newspaper reporter Amelia Brust, who was looking to localize TAR’s Texas Relocation Report. The report found that in 2015, Texas ranked second in the nation for relocation activity. Brust’s story published in print and online on January 7.
HAR dominated the Christmas Day, December 25, Houston Chronicle real estate section, with stories about REALTOR® Celebration. The full-page spread included a group photo of HAR’s newly inducted executive committee and board of directors, and profiles of HAR’s 2016 REALTOR® of the Year, Ward Arendt, and 2016 John E. Wolf Community Service Award winner Bill Baldwin, along with their respective head shots.
