HAR President and CEO Bob Hale was honored with the “On the Shoulders of Giants” award at the RISMedia Power Broker Dinner in New Orleans during the 2014 NAR Annual Conference and Expo. The dinner is an annual who’s who of the real estate industry, with the 500 largest brokers in the country being invited.
The “On the Shoulders of Giants” award was created to recognize those individuals whose efforts, works, deeds and character exemplify superior achievements in and for the real estate industry.
This year’s “On the Shoulders of Giants” award 
was presented by Jack Kreider, VP Regional Development for RE/MAX, as the sponsor of the award. “To say Bob Hale has an understanding of the real estate business is an understatement of Texas-sized proportions,” Kreider said. “He has remained in the top 25 most influential people in real estate for many years.”
Bob praised the executive leadership of industry icons for their support of HAR.com and their perspective on and support for sharing data. “We have to stop thinking ‘us versus them,’ and start thinking how we can work together,” said Bob.
As is Bob’s style, he credited the executive officers, board members, brokers, agents and staff for the success of HAR. For his personal success, he thanked the love of his life, Susie.
Once again Bob makes Houston proud!
