The purpose of this event is to re-introduce the City of Houston’s Down Payment Assistance Programs to Houston area REALTORS®. REALTORS® that utilized our programs in the past, or that generate sales within the municipal area of Houston to low-to-moderate income households, will discover the ease of closing a transaction receiving Down Payment Assistance Funds. REALTORS® will learn how to use the City of Houston’s Down Payment Assistance Programs to expand their market area and increase sales. In addition, REALTORS® will have a chance to personally meet Approved Lenders, Builders, Homebuyer Counseling Agencies, the City of Houston’s Down Payment Assistance Team and Housing and Community Development staff vital to the Down Payment Assistance Programs.
