HCAD Offering To Meet With Your Clients About Tax Protests

With the new year beginning, property owners in Harris County will soon receive a notice of the value the Harris County Appraisal District (HCAD) has placed on their home as of January 1, 2014. 

HCAD offers a valuable service to REALTOR® clients – HCAD will visit with your clients about tax protesting. Your clients can be educated on the property tax appraisal process and system. Texas law guarantees property owners the right to protest that value if the owner think it’s incorrect. This is a great opportunity for your clients to better understand tax protesting in Harris County.
